I am not sure if this is the right name for it, but its the chicken that we deep fry after marinating in masala and yogurt and ginger/garlic paste. I am not sure of the exact ingredients and the quantity of it. I would love the recipe for that. I want to make it this weekend.

oops!!! I think chicken tikka is very similar to the recipe for the chicken 65 that I am talking about. Its probably the same dish. Am i right?

There are sooooo many different recipes for "Chicken 65". Like u mentioned, just follow the recipe for "Chicken Tikka' and after marinating the chicken, instead of broiling it, just heat oil and deep fry the chicken pieces till cooked.Drain on paper towels and transfer to a serving plate.
Heat 1 tbsp oil. Add about 5 slit green chilies and 4 curry leaves and fry 1 min. Pour this over the chicken pieces.Mix a bit and serve hot. Hope this helps.
I also know some people that add 1 egg and 2 tbsps corn starch to the marinade. This will give a crisp coating- I have never tried it. Let us know how the dish turns out. I will post the recipe for "Chicken 65" on the site soon.
