
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Yellow Moong Dhal
1/2 Onion sliced
1 Tomato chopped
2 Green Chillies sliced
1/8 Tsp Turmeric Powder
2 pinches hing
1/4 Tsp Jeera
1/4 Cup Coriander leaves chopped
Salt to taste
A drop of Oil
Seasoning:
1/4 Tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 Tsp Urad Dhal
1 sprig Curry Leaves
1 Tsp oil
Preparation:
- Pressure cook Moong dhal with onion, tomato, green chillies, turmeric powder, hing, jeera and a drop of oil.
- Once cooked, mash it with a ladle and add coriander leaves and salt.
- Heat oil in a separate pan and add the seasonings.
- Once the mustard crackle, pour it over the dhal.
- Serve hot with idli.
