Nutritious snack that can be had in the evenings or can be had along with Puttu.

Ingredients:

1 Cup Green gram
Salt to taste
1/4 Cup Grated Coconut

Seasoning:(optional)

1/4 Tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 Tsp Urad Dhal
Few Broken Red Chillies
Few Curry Leaves
1 Tsp Oil

Preparation:
  • Soak green gram overnight.
  • In a pan cook soaked green gram with 3 cups water and salt.
  • Cook till its soft.
  • Once cooked drain the water.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard.
  • Once it splutters, and urad dhal, broken red chillies and curry leaves. Now add cooked green gram and mix.
  • Finally add graded coconut.
  • Serve warm.
