Crispy and tasty snack prepared during Diwali. Got this recipe from my mom.

Ingredients:

3 Cups Besan/BengalGram flour
1 Cup Rice Flour
3 Tblsp Butter
Chilli powder
1-2 Tsp crushed pepper
1/2 Tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
Salt
Oil to deep fry

Preparation:
  • Mix besan, rice four, butter, chillipowder, pepper, ginger-garlic paste and salt in a bowl.
  • Add water to make a stiff dough.
  • Heat oil in a kadai.
  • Put some dough in a murukku press and press directly into oil.
  • Drain onto a paper towel.
  • Break into small pieces.
