Masala Peanut

A simple snack for the whole family.


Ingredients:


Raw peanuts     1lb.
Chilli powder     1tsp.
Salt                  1tsp.
Oil for frying      2cups.


Preparation:

  • Heat the oil on low fire. When it is hot enough put in the raw peanuts little by little and fry it till very light brown and remove from the frying pan and put on a bounty paper or news paper to absorb the excess oil.
  • After frying all the nuts mix in the salt and chilli powder according to taste. Now it is ready to be served.


Tips:

With excess heat in the oil the peanuts tend to burn and not cooked evenly.
