This is a simple snack/meal that is liked by kids & grown-ups alike.

Ingredients:


1 Cup Poha
1 Potato diced
1/2 Cup Frozen Peas
1 large Onion chopped
1/2 Tomato chopped
2-3 Green Chillies chopped
1/4 Tsp Mustard Seeds
1/4 Tsp Jeera
1 sprig Curry Leaves
3 pinches Hing
1/2 Tsp Jeera Powder
1/2 Tsp Coriander Powder
1/8 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/4 cup chopped Coriander / Cilantro Leaves
Salt to taste
Oil


Preparation:

  • Soak poha in water for few minutes till soft, not soggy and drain in a colander.
  • Heat oil in a pan, put the mustard.
  • Once it splutter, add jeera, onion, little salt, hing, green chillies and curry leaves.
  • Fry till onion becomes transparent in colour.
  • Now add potatoes, peas and turmeric powder along with little salt.
  • Cover and cook in low flame till potatoes are soft.
  • Add coriander powder and jeera powder. Saute for 5 minutes.
  • Add chopped tomatoes, drained poha, coriander leaves and salt. Mix well.
  • Cook for about 10-15 minutes in low flame.

yummy dish. My kids loved it. My daughter asks me to prepare that atleast twice in a week.
