Deep fried chicken pieces - the egg in the marinade helps to seal the juice inside the meat making it very moist .

Ingredients:
 
8 - chicken legs (can also use thigh, breast etc.)
Oil to deep fry
 
Marinade:
 
2 tsps coriander powder
1 tsp chili powder (add more or less according to taste)
1 tsp garam masala
1 pinch turmeric powder
1 tbsp canola oil
Salt - abt 3 / 4 tsp (add more or less according to taste)
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 small egg beaten
Orange food color -optional
 
Preparation:
 
  • Wash and pat dry chicken pieces. Sprinkle some salt and set aside.
  • Combine all the ingredients under ‘marinade’.
  • Pour over chicken pieces, toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour.
  • Heat oil. Deep fry the chicken pieces till slightly crisp and golden brown.
  • Serve hot.
