Ingredients:

6 slices of white bread
20 almonds
2 Cool Whip- 8oz boxes
1 can sweetened condensed milk (14oz cans)
2 cans evaporated milk (12oz cans)
6 cardamoms-powdered
a handful of coarsely ground pistachios for topping

Preparation:
  • Grind the bread in a blender/processor without water until powdery.
  • Grind the almonds.
  • Mix them together.
  • Add in the cool whip,condensed milk ,evaporated milk & cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Spread evenly in a rectangular tray.
  • Sprinkle pistachios on top and freeze.
  • When set,cut out squares and serve.

Tips:


1.If you know you will not be using the entire tray soon, freeze kulfi in several small rectangular boxes.That way, you can pull out a box whenever you need one and you always have an Indian dessert ready at hand!

2.Pour kulfi mixture into popsicle makers and freeze if desired.
