Crispy Fried shrimp/Prawn

Battered and deep fried Prawns/shrimp - so easy to prepare and simply delicious.

Ingredients:

1 lb prawn / shrimp
Oil to deep fry

Batter:

1 tsp ginger garlic paste (shelled and deviened)
1 egg
1 / 4 cup corn flour
a dash of chili powder for spice
¼ tsp salt (add more or less according to taste)
Water

Preparation:
  • Sprinkle some salt on the shrimp and set aside.
  • Mix all the ingredients to make a thick batter. Check seasoning.
  • Heat oil .
  • Dip the shrimp one by one in the batter and deep fry till golden brown turning once.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve it hot and crispy.
