Delicious, easy fish preparation which goes well with rice, bread or any roti variety.

Ingredients:
fish 1lb.
Onion 1 (thinly sliced)
tomato 1 (optional)
lime juice 2 tsp.(or vinegar)
oil 1 tbs.
Pepper powder 1 tsp.
Jeera powder 1 tsp.(optional)
chopped corriander leaves 1 tbs.
Salt to taste.
Preparation:
- Clean the cut fish nicely with water . Keep aside.
- Heat the oil and put in the sliced onion and enough salt. Saute it on low fire till the onion is golden brown.
- Now add the fresh cut tomato or 1 tbs. of tomato puree or paste. When oil starts separating put the lime juice, pepper, jeera powder and the coriander leaves along with the fish.
- Pour in half a cup of water to cook. You can raise and lower the flame accordingly. After the fish is cooked the final product should be semi solid. Now it is ready to be served.
