Rawa Coated Fish Fry

Very tasty and delicious fish fry influenced by a recipe from Northern karnataka.

Ingredients:


3 Tilapia Fillet
1 Tsp Chilli Powder
1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
1 Tsp Oil
1/2 Tsp lime juice
Salt to taste
Rawa for coating
Oil for shallow frying

Preparation:

  • Make a paste of chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, 1 tsp oil, lime juice and salt with little water.
  • Apply the paste all over the fish.
  • Marinate for an hour in the refrigerator.
  • Coat the fish with rawa and shallow fry. Turn it once.
Tips:

If you are health conscious, just remove the coating and enjoy the fish fry without the oil.
Marinate the fish over night in the refrigerator.
