Delicious crumbled shark pieces with  onions, green chilies, coriander leaves and lime juice.

Ingredients:


Shark(sura)    1lb.
Onion             1/4lb.
Green chilli    1 nos.
Curry leaf
corriander leaf(chopped) 1tbs.
Mustard seed  1/4 tsp.
Jeera / cumin powder  1/2 tsp.
Pepper powder 1/2 tsp.
Turmeric powder  1/4 tsp.
Lime juice       to taste
salt               to taste.
Oil                 1tbs.


Preparation:

 

  • Cut the shark into 2" pieces without the skin and wash it well.
  • Pour half a cup of water , put the shark flesh, turmeric powder and salt and cook it well till dry. When it cools mash and keep aside.
  • In a pan heat the oil and put the mustard seeds, then the curry leaves ,chopped onion and the green chillies(cut into small pieces).Saute it till it is light brown on slow fire.
  • Now put in the cooked and mashed fish, corriander leaves, pepper powder, jeera powder and lime juice. Mix well.
  • Add lime juice and salt according to taste.



Tips:

It is better if the fish is a little small.

This dish goes well with rice, chapathi or bread.
