Tuna Masala

A delicious Indian recipe using canned fish. Serve this with chapathis or make a wholesome sandwich!

Ingredients:

14 oz canned tuna (drained)

Oil - 1 tbsp

1 large onion sliced

1 tomato chopped

1 / 2 tsp chili powder

1 / 4 tsp garam masala

1/ 2 tsp coriander powder

3 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves

1 tbsp oil

Salt

Preparation:

  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add the onions and some salt and cook till onions are translucent.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes ,chili powder,coriander powder and garam masala.
  • Cover and cook till the tomatoes are soft.
  • Add the tuna and fresh coriander leaves.Mix well and let it simmer a few mins.
  • Serve with chapathis or make a yummy sandwich!

Tips:

Use different varieties of canned fish for this recipe. I've tried pink salmon and it was delicious. Make sure that you remove all the bones though.
