Flavorful gravy with juicy cabbage & tender mutton.
1.5 lbs mutton/lamb medium pieces 1/ 2 a cabbage 2 onions sliced 1 large or 2 small tomatoes chopped 1 tsp ginger garlic paste 6 oz coconut milk 1 ½ - 2 cups water 1 tbsps yogurt 2 tsps coriander powder 1 /2 tsp chili powder (add more according to taste) 1 /4 tsp turmeric powder 1 /2 tsp cumin / jeera powder 3 cardamoms 2 cloves 3 - 2 inch pieces cinnamon stick 1 tbsp mint leaves salt to taste 1 tbsp oil. Tips: Cut cabbage into thick chunks about 4 inches long – remember it is pressure cooked along with the meat and we don’t want the cabbage over cooked by making pieces that are too small and thin.
