A rich mutton gravy which goes well with rice and chapathi.
Ingredients:
Mutton - 1 lb
Almonds - 8 to 10
Khus Khus(poppy seeds)- 1 tsp
coconut grated - 1/2 cup
onion - 1(small)
curd - 1cup
chili powder - as per your taste
turmeric powder - a pinch
ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
salt - as per you taste
oil -4 tbs
coriander leaves for garnishing
Preparation:
- Take 1 tbs of oil and fry almonds, khus khus and coconut till is golden brown. Grind this mixture into a paste.
- Now to the mutton add this paste, curd, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and salt. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours.
- After mutton is fully marinated take the remaining oil in pressure cooker and fry onions till golden brown ,to this add the marinated mutton and pressure cook till the meat is tender.Garnish with coriander leaves.
