Sprouts Salad

A colorful, healthy salad with moong dhal sprouts and other vegetables.


Ingredients:


whole moong dhal-2 cups
cucumber-2 chopped
carrots-1 grated
onion-1/4 finely chopped
tomato -1
fresh coconut-1/4 cup(grated)
green chillies-1(finely chopped)
cilantro-1/4 bunch
lemon juice-1 spoon
salt to taste


Preparation:


  • Soak the whole moong dhal (green gram) overnight.
  • Drain water completely and wrap it in a thin cloth and keep it in a airtight container for 2 days. (1 day in summer)
  • After 2 days u can see sprouts in them.
  • To this add chopped cucumber, grated carrot, chopped onions and chopped tomatoes.
  • Add salt for taste. Mix well.
  • Garnish with coconut, cilantro, green chilies and lemon juice.

Great idea!
Hajara, never struck me that I can make sprouts at home!!Always bought them.What a great idea!
