Quick Rasmalai

This “Almost Instant Rasmalai” tastes like you spent hours cooking over the stove . It sure will impress your guests since it is home made!!!

Ingredients:
 
1 – 20 pieces rasgulla can ( 1 kg Haldirams)
2 cups whole or 2 % milk
1 – 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 pinch saffron
1 pinch turmeric
 
Preparation:
 
  • Bring the milk to a boil along with the saffron and turmeric in a non stick saucepan.
  • Reduce heat and add 3 / 4 can condensed milk – mix well.
  • Take each rasgulla and squeeze out all the syrup .
  • Drop the rasgullas into the milk.
  • Bring milk to a boil for about 2 mins and remove from heat.
  • Transfer the rasmalai into a pretty serving dish and chill until ready to serve!
 
Tips:
 
If you like the rasmalai really really sweet like I do, just add the entire can of sweetened condensed milk instead of just 3 /4 th!!!:-)
