Sugar Coated Cashew

A quick snack to make and is a favorite for children and elders!  Everybody will love this.  Serve it at home or party.

Ingredients:
Raw cashew    1Lb
Sugar    1 Cup
Vanilla Essence    1 1/2 Tsp
Water    1 Tbsp
Oil for frying    1Cup

Preparation
  • Heat oil on a slow fire and fry the cashew little by little till it is evenly golden brown in color.
  • Keep it aside.
  • Take an other vessel;  heat it on slow fire, add sugar, water and the essence and make a syrup.
  • When the syrup is about to turn thicker and before changing color, add the fried cashew and mix it briskly.  Remove from the stove. 
  • When it cools, the cashew will have a thick coat of sugar.
  • Now it is ready to eat.
Tip: 
Be patient and cook on slow fire, will be worth your effort.
