Kesari is a traditional South Indian sweet usually served along festive breakfast.

Ingredients:
1 cup Rawa/Sooji
2 cups Sugar
2 cups Water
3 pinches Kesari Powder
A pinch of Cardamom Powder
3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter or Ghee
10 Cashews broken
10 Raisins
Preparation:
- Fry rawa in little butter or ghee for few minutes.
- In a non stick pan,boil water and add rawa little by little stirring continuously
- with out any lumps.
- Once rawa gets cooked, add sugar and keep stirring.
- At this stage the mixture will be liquidy.
- Add kesari powder, cardamom powder and butter or ghee.
- Keep stirring till ghee ooze out and kesari starts rolling and leaves the sides of the pan.
- In a separate pan, heat 2tsp ghee and fry raisins and cashews and pour it over the kesari and mix.
