Maida Biscuit

This is a simple mild sweet snack that can be stored for long time.

Ingredients:

1 3/4 Cups All-purpose flour / Maida
1 1/4 Cup powdered Sugar
1/4 Cup Milk
1 1/2 Tbsp unsalted Butter
Oil for deep frying

Preparation:

  • Mix maida & sugar well.
  • Add butter & mix.
  • Now add milk & make a stiff dough like how you make chapathi dough.
  • Divide the dough into orange sized balls.
  • Roll out the dough to a circle.
  • Cut into small diamond shapes.
  • Deep fry in oil till golden.
  • Cool & store them in an air-tight container.


Tips:

When it is light golden,take it out from oil & it gets crispy once its
completely cooled.

So good!
Finally got down to making your yummy maida biscuits in time for our summer vacation.The kids helped and it came out really nice.mm... mm...good!
