Bitter Gourd Fry

This deep fried preparation takes away most of the bitterness of the vegetable. Even my kids like this.

Ingredients:

4 medium Bitter Gourd
1 Tsp Chilli Powder
1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt to Taste.
Oil to deep fry

Preparation:
  • Cut bitter gourd into thin slices.
  • Mix it with chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and 1 tbsp water.
  • Leave it for half an hour.
  • Heat oil in a medium flame and deep fry them till golden brown and crisp.
  • This goes very well with dhal and rice.
