Long Beans Poriyal

Nice spicy chopped long beans with ground coconut.

Ingredients:

1 bunch Long Beans chopped
1/4 Tsp Mustard
1/2 Tsp Urad Dal
2 Tsp oil
Salt to taste



Grind without water:

1/4 Cup grated Coconut
1/4 Tsp Jeera/Cumin Seeds
1 Red Chilli
1 clove Garlic
Little Turmeric Powder
Few curry Leaves

Preparation:

  • Heat oil in a kadai. Add mustard and urad dal.
  • Once mustard crackle, add beans and salt.
  • Cover and cook in low flame for few minutes.
  • Add the ground mix.
  • Cook for 10-15 more minutes stirring now and then.
  • Serve with rice.
