Golden crispy fried baby corns that are an enjoyable finger food for both kids and grown ups.Serve with a nice chilli garlic sauce.
Ingredients:
Baby corn – about 12
oil for deep frying
For the Batter:
2 tbsps corn flour
2 tbsps flour
¼ tsp baking powder
1 pinch ajinomoto/ MSG/ monosodium glutamate
salt
freshly ground black pepper
water
Preparation:
- Mix all the ingredients for the batter.Adjust seasoning.
- Dip the baby corns in the batter till coated evenly and deep fry till golden brown.Do not over crowd the pan.
- Serve with a nice sauce.
Tips:
Canned baby corn is usually found in the “ASIAN or ORIENTAL” food aisle at your grocery store OR in any Asian food store.
