Grilled Chicken with Thyme Garlic & Lemon Juice

A simple quick and healthy chicken recipe. Great as a side for Pasta or can even be used in Sandwiches or Soups.

INGREDIENTS:

Boneless Split Chicken Breast without skin - 4
Lemon Juice - 4 Tbsp.
Olive oil - 2 Tbsp.
Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/2 Tsp.
Dried thyme - 1 Tsp.
Garlic cloves - 2 peeled and sliced

PREPARATION:
  • Place the cleaned and dry chicken breasts on a plate and pour over the lemon juice and olive oil. Sprinkle on the salt,black pepper and dried thyme. Push the sliced garlic pieces into the chicken breast. Marinate for atleast 30 minutes.
  • Preheat an indoor electric grill or a charcoal grill , whichever you prefer. Place the chicken on the hot grill and grill on high for 4 minutes per side. Check to see if the chicken is fully cooked through.Ready to serve!

TIPS:

1. The grilled chicken can be shredded and used in soups, or even as the filling for a grilled chicken sandwich.

2. If you prefer you can replace Dried Thyme with Dried Basil,Dried Oregano or Dried Rosemary.

3. The longer the chicken marinates for, the more tasty and juicy it will be.
