Baked Sweet Potatoes with Brown Sugar and Butter

These potatoes are buttery sweet , smooth and delicious.I first tasted them when my bil prepared them over a grill- truly mouth watering .It has become a regular side at home ever since!

Ingredients:

 
2 sweet potatoes
2 tsps butter
2 tbsps brown sugar (add more of less according to taste)

 
Preparation:

 
  • Scrub and wash the sweet potatoes.
  • Pierce the potatoes in several places with a fork or sharp knife.
  • Individually wrap the potatoes in foil and bake at 400 degrees for an hour.(Give or take a few mins depending on the size of the potatoes.)
  • When cooked , slice them in half lengthwise.Make a few slits on the flesh .
  • Top with the butter and sprinkle over some brown sugar.
  • Serve hot!
