Crab Cake

Delicious crab cakes that are so easy to make.
 
Ingredients:
 
1 lb crab meat – not canned
1 / 2 cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg beaten
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
2 tbsps butter
 
Preparation:
 
  • Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl except the butter.
  • Mix lightly so the crab meat is still in lumps.
  • Form into 8 round, flat crab cakes.
  • Heat butter in a pan. Fry the crab cakes on each side till golden brown and crusty. Serve warm.
 
Tips:
 

Old Bay seasoning is a blend of several spices and herbs. You will find Mc Cormicks Old Bay seasoning at your grocery store.
