FISH COLBERT

Fish coated with batter and deep fried.Served with a simple butter mix.

Ingredients:

4 pieces of fish-Sole,Sear,Pomfret or any other fish of your choice

1 cup bread crumbs

Oil to deep fry

For Batter:

Flour ¼ cup

2 eggs

4 drops lime juice

salt

pepper

For Butter mix:

½ stick Butter

1 pinch salt

1 pinch pepper

1 pinch mustard powder


Preparation:

  • Cut or slice fish without any bones.
  • Prepare the batter by mixing all the ingredients together without any lumps.
  • Roll the fish over the batter and then the bread crumbs.
  • Deep fry until golden brown in color.
  • Remove and serve with the simple butter mix.

Butter Mix:

  • Take a little butter and let it come to room temperature.Mix it with a pinch of pepper,mustard powder and salt.
  • Add chopped parsley or coriander leaves.Mix well.
  • Spoon butter over fish and serve.
